Kids Agland and Ranch Rodeo

The County Farm Bureau hosted the Farm Bureau Kids Agland and Ranch Rodeo at their County Fair. This was a two day event geared to educate children ages 2-9 on agriculture, where their food comes from, and the rural way of life. 

Parents accompanied their children as both child and parent grew and developed a deeper understanding about the agriculture industry through a hands-on and engaging approach from County Farm Bureau board and volunteer members. The event was additionally covered by local news teams, where they too, gained a more comprehensive understanding and appreciation for agriculture and local farmers and ranchers in the county area, which was broadcasted for an even larger audience. 

Every participant that attended this fun-filled two day event walked away with Farm Bureau memorabilia, agriculture activity books, and tangible take home reminders from the various agriculture education stations that they could share with family and friends or simply serve as a reminder of what they learned.
